Staff Profile

Hello, I am Ayesha and you will often find me in the nursery office as you enter the building or at the other end of the phone!

I have been working at Brougham Street Nursery for over 11 years now. I started as an aprentice at the age of 16 years old whilst attending Craven college qualifying for my level 3 in children and young people's workforce. I have worked in a variety of roles throughout my many years of being here such as, 1-1 SEND support, Nursery Practitioner, Room Leader, Childcare Manager and now i find myself as part of the Administration Team and the Senior Management team. 

Brougham Street is such a wonderful place to work for many reasons but one main reason being we are just one big supportive family. We all work together no matter what our role is, to create the best enviroment for your child to grow and flourish. The oppertunties Brougham Street provides children is outstanding and to be a part of that is so rewarding. I have lived in Skipton all my life, so to be part of a nursery school that is so involved in our local community is amazing.

In my spare time i love baking, going on walks with my husband, shopping and travelling!
